관계, 그 자체로의 인간의 다원성—이질성을 중심으로 – 장-뤽 낭시에게서의 이질성의 의의 –
Human Plurality as its Relationships Itself—Focusing on Heterogeneity – The Significance of Heterogeneity in Jean-Luc Nancy –
이 논문은 장-뤽 낭시에게서의 이질성의 의의를 살펴보고자 했으며, 이질성의 의의를 중심으로 인간의 다원성을 사유하고자 했다. 이 목적에 따라서 본고는 장-뤽 낭시의 코르푸스라는 개념을 집중적으로 고찰하고자 했으며, 또한 코르푸스라는 개념에서 부각되는 이질성을 명료히 이해하기 위하여 데카르트와 메를로-퐁티를 참조했다. 이 논문은 먼저 코기토에 대한 분석을 시행했다. 이 분석은 인간의 다원성을 환원하는 하나의 인간상과, 그 인간상의 바탕에 자리한 최종심급으로의 의미, 특정 기원, 내재성을 드러내기 위함에 있다. 코기토에 대한 분석 이후에 본고는 낭시의 코르푸스 개념을 분석했으며, 이 개념에서 부각되는 이질성을 명료히 이해하기 위해 메를로-퐁티에게서의 고유한 몸이라는 개념을 참조했다. 결론적으로 본고가 낭시의 코르푸스 개념을 코기토와 고유한 몸이라는 개념들과 함께 살펴보려는 것은, 이질성으로의 외재성이 내재성에 귀환하지 않는다는 것을 밝히고자 함이며, 또한 이 이질성으로의 외재성이 관계 그 자체로서의 인간의 다원성을 해명할 수 있는 한 방법임을 밝히고자 하는 것이다.
This paper seeks to explore the significance of heterogeneity in the philosophy of Jean-Luc Nancy, aiming to reflect on human plurality through the lens of heterogeneity. To achieve this purpose, the study focuses on Nancy’s concept of “corpus” and references Descartes and Merleau-Ponty to clarify the notion of heterogeneity emphasized in this concept. The paper begins with an analysis of the “cogito”. This analysis aims to reveal the singular human image that reduces human plurality, as well as the ultimate foundation, specific origin, and immanence underlying this image. Following the analysis of the “cogito”, the study delves into Nancy’s concept of “corpus” and, to better understand the heterogeneity highlighted in this concept, draws on Merleau-Ponty’s notion of the “propre corps.” In conclusion, the study’s examination of Nancy’s “corpus” concept in conjunction with the concepts of the “cogito” and the “propre corps” seeks to demonstrate that the exteriority of heterogeneity does not return to immanence. Furthermore, it aims to show that this externality of heterogeneity provides a means to elucidate human plurality as a relational existence itself.
